In 2008, brothers Jordan Demeter and Sam Stroud founded what is now Spartan Pool and Patio. They began their journey in the pool industry much earlier than that, helping their grandfather, Don Demeter, build in-ground vinyl-lined pools in the summers of their teenage years. Within a few short years, Spartan added weekly cleaning service and pool equipment repair/ installation. In 2011, Spartan began making the transition from vinyl-lined pools to construction and renovation of custom concrete pools and the creation of luxury outdoor living spaces. 2019 was another transition year, with a tremendous opportunity to serve more people as we began our journey as a brick-and-mortar retail pool store with the acquisition of longtime Norman staple Thompson Pool and Patio. This move has proved to be a huge blessing and has allowed us to continue to grow relationships with the people in our community in a new and exciting way. Our team, which started so small back in 2008, has now grown to more than 50 talented individuals who are committed to serving our customers and being experts in their field. We have been humbled and honored over the years to be recognized among the leading pool companies in the country. We have three times been named a “Top 50 pool builder” in the country by Pool and Spa News, four times been named a “Top 50 service” company by Pool and Spa News, and have been named an “Aqua 100” pool retail store as one of the top 100 swimming pool retailers in the country. Additionally, we have twice been named to the Inc. 5000 list as one of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the country. Spartan Pool And Patio is still a family owned and operated business. We still hold the same values when we started the company. We view this company as a conduit and opportunity to interact with and enrich the lives of everyone we come into contact with, whether that’s our customers, team members, vendors, or anyone else.
